Dr. Brittany Setzer is Missouri Eye Institute’s optometrist providing primary eye care and post operative care in Branson, Joplin, and Springfield. Dr. Brittany Setzer earned her Bachelor of Science in Biology degree from Drury University in Springfield. She attended the University of Missouri St. Louis College of Optometry and graduated with her Doctorate of Optometry in 2016. She went on to complete residency in Primary Eyecare and Ocular Disease at the Gene Taylor Veterans Outpatient clinic in Mt. Vernon, Missouri.
Dr. Setzer served as the residency supervisor at the Veterans Hospital in Springfield, MO and is well trained in anterior and posterior segment disease management. She has provided clinical instruction in patient care to several residents. Dr. Setzer is also a Fellow of the American Academy of Optometry. Dr. Setzer graduated from Rogersville High School and has a strong connection to the Southwest Missouri region. Outside of her time at the office, she enjoys traveling and spending time with her family.
