Missouri Eye Institute specializes in the application of BOTOX^® Cosmetic injections for temporarily reducing the appearance of fine lines around the eyes and crow’s feet, the tiny wrinkles at the outer corners of the eyes. This is a simple, non-surgical procedure that also can reduce the appearance of moderate to severe forehead wrinkles including vertical frown lines between the brows. If your eye wrinkles are more severe or are combined with bagginess or droopiness that impairs your vision or is aesthetically unpleasing, your physician may also recommend blepharoplasty. This surgical procedure, also commonly referred to as an eyelid lift or eyelift, removes excess upper or lower eyelid tissue, and tightens muscles and reduces wrinkles around the eyes.
